About the Founders of EES
In 1995, the late Mr. A. D. Shenoy and the late Mr. George Kurian, founders of BBTI, established Edwards English School with a simple but powerful vision — to make quality education accessible to every child in Jamtara, including children from the poorest families.
Building upon the educational foundation laid at the Budhudih Mission in 1870, they started EES on a small scale, trusting in God to provide for the needs of the school and its students.
Their vision was not simply to establish a school, but to create a place where children could learn, grow, develop character and build a better future.
